Sunday April 23

WOW! Sunday was quiet. We had two beehives, Cassie and Nicole. And they both took Charge in Opening exercises; conducting,& playing the piano, Cassie gave us our Spiritual Thought which set the tone nicely for our meeting!

This Week For our Personal Progress Moment Nicole told us how she was working on Faith #1. Learn about faith from the scriptures and living prophets. Read Hebrews 11, Alma 32:17–42, Ether 12:6–22, and Joseph Smith—History 1:11–20. Read two general conference talks on faith. Exercise your own faith by establishing a habit of prayer in your life. Begin by saying your morning and evening prayers regularly. After three weeks of following this pattern, discuss with a parent or leader what you have learned about faith and daily personal prayer. In your journal express your feelings about faith and prayer.

Reminds us,
“Prayer plays a vital part in our worship, our religious thinking, and our daily lives”
You can read the entire article with this link: The Importance of Prayer

Remember we can pray anytime & anywhere and for any reason, it’s our vital link with Heavenly Father, but we need to use it to keep it open. He loves each of us so very dearly, and He wants to hear from us.

In our lesson we learned of the different duties of each office, and what we (YW) could do to support the different Priesthood holders in our lives, and how we can honor the Priesthood. We learned that the Stake President is the Presiding High Priest for the entire Stake and each Ward has a High Priest Group Leader as opposed to A High Priest Quorum President. Also the Bishop is the President of the Priest Quorum, and that one of the Young Men acts as his Assistant.
